Refusal Rescue

Refused in Nigeria? The file gets rebuilt, not resent.

A refusal is not the end of the process. It means the next application has to be built differently. Refusal Rescue starts with the refusal letter and ends with a new file, prepared with you, that answers every ground the officer gave.

What Rekoja's desk does, in order

Rebuilt, not resent.

  1. The refusal paragraph, readThe desk reads the letter itself: the paragraph cited and the grounds the officer gave, not a generic checklist of what usually goes wrong.
  2. What the file lacked, listedYou get the list in writing: every document, figure and statement the refusal turned on, next to what the published rules ask for in its place.
  3. The documents gatheredThe desk retrieves what is missing. Any official fee on a document is paid on written instruction, passed through at cost, and the receipt comes to you.
  4. The new file prepared with the applicantThe desk builds the file with the applicant. A named case owner prepares it, answers each ground in turn, and signs it off before anything moves.
  5. Submitted through the official channelThe application goes through the channel the destination names, and the submission receipt goes to the applicant and to whoever paid.

Who is who

The applicant is the client. The relative abroad is the payer.

The applicant is the client of record, and the relative abroad is the payer and nothing more. The desk works with the applicant, and the payer sees status, receipts and dates, never document contents.

What is promised

The process, not the verdict.

The desk controls the preparation. The decision belongs to the authority that makes it, and no one can promise you otherwise. What you are buying is the five steps above, each with its receipt: the refusal read, the gap list in writing, the documents gathered, the file prepared with the applicant and signed off by a named case owner, the submission made through the official channel.

Our service charge is refundable in full before work starts, and by stage after it. The stage table is published with the price list. An official fee already paid to an institution is not refundable, and the receipt is the proof.

Refusal Rescue questions

I have been refused before. Can you still help?

Yes: this is what Refusal Rescue is for. 9 of every 11 rescues our team has prepared were overturned on appeal or re-application. Our team's own record, current to 26 October 2026. The authority decides. A refusal does not end the route, but the next application has to be rebuilt rather than resent, and Rekoja's desk rebuilds it with you. Nobody at Rekoja gives advice about your own case from the UK.

The applicant is in Nigeria and I am in the UK. Who does what?

The applicant is the client of record and the relative abroad is the payer. The desk works with the applicant and prepares the file with them. The payer sees status, receipts and dates, and never document contents, because the applicant consents to that separately.

Does anyone in the UK advise on the case?

No. Nobody in the UK gives advice about anyone's case under Rekoja's name. For advice on your own UK case, use a regulated adviser. The official register is at gov.uk.

How does the consultation work, and is it credited?

Rekoja's desk reads the refusal letter with the applicant and sends the list of what the file lacked, in writing. If you go ahead with Refusal Rescue, the consultation fee is credited against it, so you never pay twice.

Will the new application be approved?

Nobody can tell you that, and treat anyone who says otherwise as a red flag. The decision belongs to the authority that makes it. What the desk commits to is the process: the refusal read, the gap list in writing, the documents gathered, the file prepared with the applicant and signed off by a named case owner, every official fee receipted at cost.

What is the difference between Refusal Rescue and a prepared file?

A prepared file is a first-time application. Refusal Rescue starts from the refusal letter, so it begins with the paragraph the officer cited and the gap list that comes out of it, and the new file answers each ground in turn.

How long does it take?

Typically 3 to 5 working days of desk work once the refusal letter and the supporting documents are in. Retrieving a document from an institution the desk cannot reach directly is quoted separately and is never promised to a date the desk does not control.
